FIELD EXPERIENCE: PRE-ASSESSMENT
My pre-assessment field experience went exceptionally well. The teacher wanted to start incorporating technology in the classroom and his students wanted to use more technology so this was a win-win experience for everyone involved. I planned ahead of time by meeting with the teacher and reviewing several re-assessment plans. I did change it from my original assessment in assignment 2A based on his needs and where he was in the chapter. Designing the assessment was challenging because I wanted to incorporate new technologies wisely and productively as well as meet the State/CC and ISTE technology standards. In order to accomplish this I used the A.S.S.U.R.E. Strategy. I gave myself the grade of A+ of course! I developed the following PowerPoint Presentation regarding the Pre-Assessment lesson details and strategies I used.

ASSIGNMENT 3B
FIELD EXPERIENCE: LESSON PLAN
I changed my lesson plan completely from Assignment 2A. My original lesson plan was based on the class writing a group paper on Google Docs. I changed it upon meeting with the teacher based on time and the lack of experience the class had with using Google Docs. The teacher really wanted to focus on integrating technology and teach about the importance of decision making and the fact that there are consequences to actions they make such as those that were made in WWI. For this I decided on the amazing interactive simulation show below. I have used simulations before and I have taken simulations before but this is by far the best I have seen so far.
